Apple Wallet loyalty cards

Apple Wallet is the one app every iPhone customer already has, already trusts, and never deletes. A loyalty card that lives there is a card that survives the next phone clear-out.

Already installed

Every iPhone ships with Wallet. There is no install step between seeing your QR code and holding your card.

Updates itself

When a stamp is added, the pass updates. Your customer does not refresh anything.

Your branding, not ours

Your café’s name, colours and logo on the card. Cafeity is the plumbing, not the brand on the front.

A card for everyone else too

Android customers get the Google Wallet version, and anyone whose phone cannot install a pass gets a web card that scans identically.

Why wallet beats a loyalty app

Asking a customer to install an app to save ten per cent on their eleventh coffee is a bad trade and most of them know it. Industry-wide, the gap between people who would join a loyalty scheme and people who will install an app for one is the entire reason paper punch cards are still on counters in 2026. Wallet removes the ask.

What we can and cannot promise

Apple Wallet and Google Wallet are different products with different rules. Apple can surface a pass update on the lock screen; Google handles notifications differently. We show you a preview per platform rather than pretending one design renders identically on both, and wallet updates and notifications remain subject to Apple and Google platform capabilities.

Setup

You upload a logo and pick two colours. We handle pass generation, signing and updates. There is no certificate management, no provisioning profile, and nothing to renew on your side.

Common questions

Does this work on Android?
Yes. Android customers get a Google Wallet pass, and the enrollment page picks the right one automatically. A web card is available as a fallback on any phone.
Will customers get a notification when they earn a reward?
Where the platform allows it. Apple Wallet can show pass updates on the lock screen; Google Wallet handles notifications differently. Wallet updates and notifications are subject to Apple and Google platform capabilities.
Do I need an Apple Developer account?
No. Passes are issued and signed by Cafeity. You never touch a certificate.
