Staff get the scanner and nothing else — no customer database, no exports, no billing. Managers additionally see customers and programs. Owners see everything, including who did what.
Manual entry when the camera fails
Cracked lens, dark corner, phone at two per cent. Staff can type the customer’s code instead, and the flow continues identically.

- Do I need to buy a scanner?
- No. It runs in the browser on a phone or tablet you already have.
- Can staff see customer phone numbers and emails?
- No. The scanner shows a first name and a progress count. Contact details are visible to managers and owners only, and staff cannot export data.
- What if the internet drops mid-shift?
- The scanner tells your barista plainly that no stamp was added, rather than pretending it worked. Offline stamping is deliberately not supported — it is the easiest way to end up with fraudulent or duplicated stamps.
