What it means for a café
Invented at a trade fair in Thessaloniki and now a fixture across southern Europe. For a café it behaves like an ice cream rather than a coffee: demand tracks the weather, and the equipment sits idle for half the year.
This page describes frappé in general. It is not a description of any particular chain’s recipe, and the photograph is not of any named company’s product.
