Coffee
Macchiato
A macchiato is espresso “marked” with a small amount of milk or foam, served far smaller than a cappuccino.

What it means for a café
The source of more counter confusion than any other drink, because the chain version sweetened with syrup and served long bears almost no relation to the Italian original. Cafés that sell both learn to ask which one the customer means.
This page describes macchiato in general. It is not a description of any particular chain’s recipe, and the photograph is not of any named company’s product.
